women Empowerment and gender equality are the most significant need for the upliftment and progress of our nation. In the effort to make SMP Government Girls PG College, Meerut a strong part of the society among gender constituted in 2004 under the able guidance of principal Professor (Dr.) Anju Singh.The cell plays an important role in voicing opinion on important matters that affect the daily life of women students. They provide a platforms where students can comfortably participate and share their views. The cell promote gender equality. For this the cell organise event and activities for women empowerment like- talks, lectures, poster competition, slogans, workshop and environment for the students to realise their full potential and give their best.
Vision- To empower women in all spheres of life enabling them to become agent of social and economic change and inculcating ethical value for the betterment of self.
Mission- To create a platform for the empowerment of women and raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy and training.
